Khalid Shahin is a full time artist, sculptor and product designer based in Dubai-UAE. Through time he tried to combine and integrate Text-Art and Arabic calligraphy with his abstract paintings as well as his unique sculptures to reflect the fiber qualities of paint in dough and to take his modern sculptures to a new levels.
I really like this painting, but cant understand the media used; is it a digital artwork or an actual painting? If you dont mind may I ask what you have used to paint it? It doesnt look like acrylics though it seems a bit like acrylic inks. But how did you achieve the transparent layers? its very beautiful, what are its dimensions? I can see other letters apart from the “waow” – is that true or am I imagining them?
