Khalid Shahin is a full time artist, sculptor and product designer based in Dubai-UAE. Through time he tried to combine and integrate Text-Art and Arabic calligraphy with his abstract paintings as well as his unique sculptures to reflect the fiber qualities of paint in dough and to take his modern sculptures to a new levels.
Hi Khalid. I love your artwork. I was drawn to this piece in particular. At first it was the colors, until I realized its covered in Treble Clefs. Its intriguing. The title ‘lost’ almost to me means getting swept away or lost in the music. Was this the reasoning behind the title?

Thank you so much for your comment. I liked your interpretation and I think it works for this artwork but I was aiming on something else. The congestion of the clefs is the symbol freedom where the artist seeks to free the world from anything may hinder or prevent freedom of movement.
